In July 2009 the Annerley Recreation Club was successful in applying for funding to install water tanks and an irrigation pump for the senior fields. The majority of this work was completed in Dec 2009 and after some minor works on the field’s irrigation the new system is now fully operational and we have already emptied the tanks twice.
The installation of this key infrastructure allows the club to place less reliance on town water supplies to maintain the field and allows us to now look at further projects to source water from alternative sources.
