During 2009 the Queensland Government through the Department of Sport and Recreation provided funding to assist the club in developing the club through the conduct of sessions in local schools.
The sessions were run by “Coolsport” during November and December 2009 in anticipation of the 2010 sign on season.
The club acknowledges the support of the Queensland Government in this initiative the benefits of which can be measured by the success of the recent sign on days.
